Reports[edit]

  • Report from "Tape Museum":
  • TASCAM M-600 Series Mixer

  • The TASCAM M-600 Series mixers were designed to meet the market's demands for TASCAM quality in a larger mixer, specifically for professional recording needs. The result is a top-of-the-line mixer that offers a wide range of control and connectivity options, while remaining remarkably compact and easy to use. Versions with 24 and 32 input channels are available, with both versions featuring a total of 16 program summing bars and balanced inputs and outputs (except Direct Out).
  • With the exception of the XLR microphone inputs, all input and output signals are routed to 25-pin D-sub connectors, which can be directly coupled to a Bantam-type patch panel available as an accessory. Two monitor options allow the choice of 16 monitor returns for direct connection to 16-track tape machines, or 32 monitor returns for compatibility with 24- or 32-track machines.
  • Stereo input modules are also available as accessories, intended for applications where primarily stereo signals are to be processed. As with all TASCAM consoles, the electrical specifications, sound quality, signal routing flexibility and reliability are outstanding. The TASCAM M-600 Series mixers are unbeatable in use for professional multitrack recording practice.
