I've had the GLE 100 for 34 years and I'm still thrilled. I am looking for the ultimate high end box (up to EUR 30.000,-- pair) but what they can do, they would have to prove in a blind test against my GLE 100. Once the fuse was actually blown - but no problem.

I would be interested in the experiences of other users. Who has ever blind tested them against the big competitors? I recently listened to the B&W 800 - but not directly against my GLE 100. I honestly expected more. Found it slipping a bit too easily into the bass on the lower midrange. I would also like to hear more opinions on this. What is your ultimate speaker up to EUR 30,000 pair?
