Special Features
- Bass reflex hole goes to the rear; wall clearance required. As an option there is a suitable foam cylinder to close the bass reflex hole, if this distance can not be given, because the bass sounds spongy without distance.
Wall distance: recommended: Min. 50 cm Placement on a shelf or speaker base is recommended; placement directly on the floor is not recommended.

There were 8 loudspeakers in the test field, 6 of which received the rating "middle class, reference". The Quadral Dauphin received the rating "middle class". The manufacturing quality was emphasised for the price range, but the sagging of the midrange (bathtub tuning) was criticised.
