• There are at least 2 versions of the MJ-D 508. One model for the US market and other markets has an adjustable unit voltage and a detachable power cord (like on Technics units). Here the display is dark yellow. On the units sold in continental Europe, the display is white-light blue, large and easy to read, with good luminosity.

The remote control is clearer compared to the predecessor model Pioneer MJ-D 707: Pioneer CU-MJ016. It can also be used with the MJ-D 707
