Reviews[edit]
Stereoplay 9/1997: Sound very good, 22 points (from 5/1998 44 points), price-performance outstanding. "Not a very high wattage integrated amplifier, but it offers hi-fi fans who connect common speakers, including phono, everything they could possibly want for the money." (ibid. p.48)- Stereoplay Highlight Stereo 1/1998 (as a system with St 17 and CD 17M) : Test result very good. "The PM 17 was able to prove its superior sound quality - in the laboratory as well as in the listening test. - We were surprised by the excellent signal-to-noise ratio, especially of the phono-MC stage, and the PM 17 is absolutely noise-free via the CD input... In the listening test the PM 17 could convince by its tidy, precise sound image with very good fine detail." (Stereoplay 1/1998, p.54)
