Remarks[edit]

The DUAL CD 5150 RC is one of 2 CD players which were part of the "Audiophile Concept" series. The devices of the Audiophile Concept series - built in the late 80s to the early 90s - were the result of a cooperation with ROTEL and were also no longer built in Germany but in Japan. The 5150 RC is to a large extent identical with the Rotel players RCD 855/865 - what goes so far that the remote controls of both devices are interchangeable. The player's turntable is the tried and tested CDM 4/19 from Philips - as are the D/A converter and digital filter.
