Reviews[edit]

  • The turntable CS 5000 is a really successful device. The slightly older units of this series have a flaw in my opinion. The turntable axle is not grounded. Even relatively small overvoltages, like a burned out light bulb near the turntable, can lead to irreparable damage of the processor (according to my experiences a replacement for the processor is not to be found). Subsequent grounding of the platter axle is relatively simple and immediately apparent when the platter is removed. In my case, I had no choice but to look for a usable defective unit.
