The Omega 530 by Magnat is a gigantic subwoofer with a 'normal' frequency response, but extreme level reserves and very low distortion values. Such a system is predestined for really large home cinemas, where it will fit in elegantly due to its classy cabinet."

  • DVD & Surround Test Issue 2/2004; 2nd/9th place in test: without final grade Price/Performance: "very good".
    • "Powerful, powerful bass. Minus: Relatively difficult (because space-consuming) set-up."
