Magnat

Magnat was founded in 1973 in Cologne. After several takeovers, the production of the high-quality and elaborate Ribbon technology was unfortunately discontinued around 1990, nowadays Magnat is owned by "VOXX International". Since then Magnat is unfortunately no longer Magnat. The American influence did nothing good for the quality. A real pity!. But you should not forget that VOXX International also owns Klipsch, which is more in the premium segment. The entire knowledge about the High-End series from the 80's is lost with the Magnat coworkers by the frequent takeovers :-( 2001 tried Magnat in vain to approach the success with the All Ribbon loudspeakers. The All Ribbon 12 were produced, which unfortunately are not what the real Ribbons used to be. The production in the old quality was unprofitable, simply too expensive :-( The top products were marketed under the brand Transpulsar, the entry-level series under the brand Sonobull.
