Remarks

• Other models of the same series: none, but similarity in construction- next point
• Similar in construction to the Philips CDR-880, on which the DR 700 is based. It was tuned however in many places, received the HDAM output amplifier modules and a set of capacitors new (in addition in detail Stereoplay 12/1998). Both can also use the same remote control.

• As with most units of the time, only audio CD-R and audio CDRW discs could and can be burned. Marantz recommended CD-R 60 and CD-R 74.
