Remarks

  • While in Germany large quantities of smaller Hitachi turntables were sold (mostly in the course of a "Hifi-Rack") the larger models are rarely found in this country.
  • So is the HT-500 MK2,which is a good unit for softer suspended MM systems a la VMS30MK/II.
  • The qualities of the drive are far beyond a current belt-driver of the 1000€ + class. And that despite a weight under 10kG.
