The Marantz CD16 was sold around 1990. It uses the Philips CDM-4/36 Metallic transport. The Philips CDM-4 mechanism exists in several variants. When the 4 rubber straps are worn out, the drawer mechanism does not work anymore. This happens frequently with this CD player.
