- The equipment does not have a timer (!) (preinstallation for timer) any more - in contrast to the TC-K611 S and the larger brother TC-K715 S.
- Similar in construction to the TC-K 715S, which was sold at the same time, but which has the TCM-200 mech and a timer.
- The TC-K 615S used the TCM-190 mech whereas its predecessor TC-K 611S used the TCM-200 mech.
