- Other models of the same series: none, but similarity in construction- next point
- Similar in construction to the Philips CDR-880, on which the DR 700 is based. It was tuned however in many places, received the HDAM output amplifier modules and a set of capacitors new (in addition in detail Stereoplay 12/1998). Both can also use the same remote control.
