This version was technically similar to the TD 160 Mk II, but featured a larger platter bearing (diameter 10 mm), a larger and more solid cabinet (MDF instead of chipboard) and a sub-chassis with special vibration damping. The standard platter mat was replaced by a resonance absorbing one.
