- Individual tracks can be controlled directly by means of control buttons on the housing (or remote control)
- This is done with the help of an infrared sensor on the pickup, which detects the empty grooves between the tracks on a record
- Furthermore, due to this device, it is able to automatically detect the correct record size (7", 10" or 12") in each case
