Used transistors have their own company specific designations and so are only available from Cyrus!

There were different series of the Mission Cyrus II. They differ externally by different on/off switches. One series is equipped with toggle switches, the other with (red internally illuminated) pushbutton switches.
+

The metal housing is matt lacquered, but there was a special series with glossy black lacquered metal housing.

The Mission Cyrus II came with an optional external power supply called "PSX". The actual amplifier has a powerful 200 W toroidal transformer, the external power supply has an even bigger 500 W toroidal transformer. The units have identical housings, the only external differences are the connections and the controls.
+
== Berichte ==
If the Mission Cyrus II is operated with the PSX, two fuses inside the amplifier have to be removed. Then the two devices are connected by means of a proprietary plug, whose cable is firmly mounted on the PSX.

The Mission Cyrus II gains a lot in sound by using the PSX. The internal toroidal transformer is only used for phono.
