Even if this was the propagated location at the time, the L620 can show its potential on stands with sufficient distance to the rear wall. This way the speaker is able to produce sufficient deep bass when required, but gains in transparency and neutrality. It is also not suitable for wall mounting like some other Braun speakers of this era (keyword L550). However, the L620 is acoustically superior to them. A qualitative classification will certainly be close to the "big" sister L 710 without fully reaching its bass precision.
