Yamaha Rdx E700

Yamaha Pianocraft E-700

Features: Although the receiver of the E 700 is almost the smallest in the test, in addition to amplifier and RDS tuner, a full-grown DVD player is in the compact device. The elegant Pianocraft is thus capable of playing DVDs in sound and picture, in addition to CDs (including discs with MP3 and WMA). Even if it's not true surround sound, music DVDs are simply more fun with the right picture on a TV. In addition to the Scart socket, a component output (with progressive full-screen output) is also available for connection to the television. In addition to the elegant design of the smart system, the solid build quality is also striking. The two loudspeakers have a high-gloss black finish reminiscent of piano lacquer. In fact, the name of the system says it all. The small system delivers a considerable volume and rich bass for its size. The high frequency reproduction of the "Black Beauties" is particularly pleasing; voices and acoustic instruments are reproduced with a wide overtone spectrum and therefore sound fresh and natural. Dynamic brass sections are also "blasted" into the listening room in a relaxed manner. Only with live drum recordings the small system reaches its limits, for these extreme levels chassis size and amplifier power are not quite sufficient.

Yamaha remains true to its Pianocraft philosophy with the E 700: elegant design, high-quality materials and good sound in a mini format. Nice that Yamaha maintains its classics and upgrades with modern DVD technology and compatibility for MP3, WMA, DiVx, DVD Video, dts, dolby digital, CD-R / CD-RW - DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, and Co. RDS radio with text, 30 stations, Speakers: piano lacquer look, Yamaha NX-E700 Remote control:

In addition, comes with 2 x 30 watts enough power (even to run possibly times larger LS), simple operation, fast DVD drive (also for audio CDs, which is not self-evident) and a good equipment such as timer, alarm clock, headphone output, progressive scan and useful tone controls.
