Versions of the SL-1200[edit]
- Version B: Technics SL-P 1200b BBC Radio PRO version, b stands for "broadcast" version of the SL-P1200.
- Most important differences and similarities to the 1200 and 1300 model (source: AudioScope): The power supply is largely identical to that of the standard 1200, the drive and servo control incl. digital readout, filters etc. are identical to the 1300, i.e. a newer version. Analog output stage with 16 bit Burr Brown conversion and balanced XLR outputs of the analog section. "Frame" indication in the display for synchronization, fader start with large fader instead of the "pitch function" as on the usual models.
Version X: The SL-P1200X is an intermediate model between the P1200 and P1300 with XLR outputs, control and sync BNC outputs and 3-position output level switch. No digital outputs but "subcode" output and DIN terminal for cable remote control.
- Version P: The SL-P1200P is a radio-oriented version of the P1300 with reduced speed function, full fader and the display moved to the right side and a frame search added.
