Technics SC-VC1060

This system is the "smaller brother" of the SC-VC1180:

The Technics RS-CA1060 cassette deck is identical.

   + automatic tape type selection - the drive is also suitable for metal cassettes !

   - unfortunately Dolby HX-Pro is missing
   - a tape counter is also missing - standard with the competition ! 

The Technics SL-CA1060 CD player, on the other hand, is a simple version that can only play audio CDs, but it does have a digital output.

   + 32 track memory for 3 different CDs 
   + MASH D/A converter  
   + automatic track selection for tape copy
   + optical digital output
   + CD-R playable

   - unfortunately no CD-Text 

The Technics ST-CA1060 preamplifier only has an input/output called DCC and a phono connection; Dolby Surround ProLogic is also missing here.

   + Timer for recording and playback
   + Connections: DCC input/output, phono input.
   + VBO Virtual Battery Operation
   + Two cast aluminium, heavy knobs with good resistance for station search and volume control

   - unfortunately no electronic EQ and no spectrum analyser
   - unfortunately no RDS, but very good reception and sound !
   - unfortunately no digital inputs/outputs 
   - a multi-channel input for connecting external surround decoders is missing

The amplifier Technics SE-CA1060 has only 2 x 40W sine wave at 6 Ohm.

   + 2 x 40W sine wave power into 6 ohms, or 2 x 50 watts into 4 ohms, or 2 x 30 watts into 8 ohms
   + MOS-FET technology (New Class A)
   + Bass, sub-bass and treble controls for sound tuning
   + 6.25mm headphone jack, gold-plated
   + two large, illuminated analog VA meters as eye-catcher

SB-CA1060 speaker in 3-way technology, with tweeter dome and midrange driver radiating to the front, while the woofer sits in the chassis and radiates to the rear via a passive cone
