Talk:Heco Pure 800

So I was able to purchase the Heco Pure 800 a few days ago on eBay Classifieds. And I got them yesterday. Sound really good, very clear highs, good but rather restrained mids, and really rich and crisp bass that also sound really good. Weight 22 Kg approximately per speaker.

I have actually like one or the other who will read this, not really found much on the internet to the speakers.

So I took a closer look and looked inside, see there the drivers for the bass are the SR 160/9 just like the Interior/Superior series okay! looks but so far very good.

Then I screwed on the midrange driver or "low-midrange driver" and lo and behold! A chassis with housing? Yes, there is a long "tube" behind it that is rounded off. I must honestly say, no idea what that is. But I think it's the "isolated room" for the midrange driver (low-midrange driver). About the midrange driver, I can say that it is also from the Superior series. I think I saw it on the Heco Superior 730.

And last but not least the tweeter, what can I say. It's actually 1 to 1 the same as the Interior/Superior series. In that case 19mm I think aluminium dome, but I'm not sure. The only thing that is different is the front cover which is round.

I hope I have helped everyone who has or wants to buy this speaker. And I have to say again that they sound really, really good. And to outbid something like that nowadays you would have to (I'm sure of it) at least 1500 Euro.

The have not for nothing 2000 Dm cost at the time.

PS: I bought the speakers in very good condition for 40Euro. Am damn happy!

Thanks for reading, have not made it for nothing, should be read yes ;)
