Reorganization of the device database

So slowly the list here is getting a bit longer, so I thought about whether you should not bring a bit of structure pure and the devices something order. Under Device Database/Suggestion is a first idea --Gero 08:12, 26 Jun 2008 (CEST)

I just put my foot down and adopted Gero's structure. Furthermore the device database was extended by the sections home cinema, car hifi and TV. Especially the extension by home cinema and TV was necessary in my opinion, because Hifi and TV are merging more and more. See e.g. topic categories of "Hifi-Forum". Suggestions and constructive criticism are of course very welcome. Best regards, Markus

Hi Roman, thanks for the additions to the car hifi section. However, I'm not quite sure if it might be a bit too much of a good thing. Keyword: oversystematization. After all, it's more costly for us to serve or fill so many categories. Since the car hifi section is still quite fresh, maybe we should start less systematized to see if it is accepted at all, and then systematize more if necessary. My - now also optimized for search engines and adapted to your additions - proposal would therefore be:
