Use alcohol or CLEAN methylated spirits to keep all parts i.e. rubber rollers, capstan shafts, clay & extinguishing heads CLEAN before!!! you take pictures!!!

Caution with the purchase of old High End cassette devices! All rubber peeses are worn out after 20ig years. e.g. with the KX 670, the head bridge servo does not pull through properly, (small peese)thereby NO playback!!! HW

Idler should be part of a gear mechanism (coil function), and not as in some high-end devices as a "slip rubber" (AKAI, NAKAMICHI ect.)

Synchronization data WRMS refer ONLY to recording! with the "whole round" it can quadruple itself! thus 0.06% WRMS are fast times 0.2% DIN, that has then with HiFi hardly something to do. After 25 years only direct drive double capstans work properly (NEW Peesen), so no Nakamichi with pseudo - double capstan! HW
