Reports[edit]

  • Addendum RK Berlin 2018: better data known:
  • High-quality cassette deck of the noble series "ES" by Sony. This deck is characterized by its 3-motors and 3-head drive. The cassette flap is opened and closed by motor. By the 3 heads one has the function "rear tape control". This means that you can listen to what you have recorded by pressing a button while recording. This is very helpful if you want to adjust the cassette exactly by bias and recording level. You get the best possible sound quality. A first-class device in solid build quality.

Technical data

  • 3-head system with rear band control
  • Super Density Permalloy sound heads with LC-OFC
  • Microprocessor-controlled 3-motor drive with quartz-stabilised direct drive
  • Dual Capstan Drive
  • Cassette stabilizer
  • Motor-driven cassette compartment
  • Record level and bias calibration with 2 tone generators
  • Noise reduction Dolby B/C
  • Title search
  • Gold-plated connection sockets
  • Switchable display
  • Timer recording/playback
  • Ready for IR Remote Control
