Remarks[edit]
The Sony CDP-CA 70 ES is the second largest 5-disc changer in the ES series. The unit would only be sold in the USA and is therefore extremely rare to get in Germany. It has a very extensive equipment as you know it from the big CD players of the ES series. The player has several playback modes and the possibility to display the CD text, if it is available on a CD. This is particularly useful with changers, as you know immediately which CD is currently inserted. The unit also has the Ex-Change function, which makes it possible to change CDs during playback. It should be noted that this unit is a US import. I.e. the device is designed for operation at 120 V. For operation in Germany a voltage converter is required, which reduces the local 230 V ±10 % to 120 V.
