Silent Wire Cable
At the heart of the development of Silent WIRE products is the philosophy of influencing the sound image as little as possible with cables. Jointly responsible for this is engineer Dieter Tielert, a luminary in questions of high-end sound with many years of experience. Tielert, who financed his technical studies as a musician on the side, is able to judge a cable not only from a technical point of view. He devotes himself specifically to the importance of power for audio - a topic with which he repeatedly opens the eyes and ears of listeners in his regular training courses and demonstrations.
The Silent WIRE team attaches great importance to placing its work on a solid, scientific basis. For the development of its products, Silent WIRE works together with internationally renowned specialists. The research on conductance values, materials and coatings, for example, was accompanied and supported by Professor Dr. Rüdiger Bormann, head of the Institute for Materials Physics and Technology at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg. It is thanks to his research that today not only the raw copper material but also the contact points of a cable are given the necessary importance.
However, it is not research alone that makes Silent WIRE one of the most successful manufacturers in the cable segment. It is only through the interaction of technical and musical understanding that our cables achieve a dynamic and bandwidth that clearly distinguishes them from the products of our competitors. It is therefore not surprising that the Technical University of Berlin has also equipped its auditorium area with Silent WIRE cables.
