Personal listening report

Sound: With good CDs, the music just pearls into the room. It plays with a lot of verve and a wonderful musicality. You want to know what I mean by that? You like women who can sing really well, you like rocky, bluesy live music? Then I recommend Diana Fuchs, Live in New York! Listening to this CD player you feel like you are there! Diana roars and rages across the stage, beer sloshes out of the plastic beer mug, everyone is roaring, sweaty from singing along, clapping and jumping...oh, how wonderful! That's how good the DX 7210 is, that's how brilliant this CD is! Another example: Prince, 2010, the last track (hidden...at the very back) there's a bass pumping that simply lifts me out of my swinging chair, my feet are bouncing, my belly...vibrates...it's a pleasure to listen to the Purple Yoda from Minnesota! Or a little softer: Lizz Wright; her album Orchard, Track 1 :Her wonderful alto voice carries through the whole room, there are no more loudspeakers to hear, only music....unbelievable how good a decent CD player can sound.

Conclusion: if you are looking for a good-sounding and well-equipped CD player/changer because you want to listen to music with pleasure, then the PD-M400 is highly recommended. It is ideal for the party cellar, but of course also works in the living room, in the office, in the summer house, in the children's room, in the kitchen, in the garage, ......
