The sound column Carmen guarantees full sound enjoyment with a deliberately light construction. High-quality technology guarantees a sound quality that meets high demands. The Carmen is suitable for living areas, where beside the full sound also the design comes clearly to the validity. Sound naturally propagates in an undirected manner in the form of spherical waves: From your source, all frequencies travel simultaneously in every direction. The proportion of direct sound is only 10-14%. We experience most of the sound as ambient sound. Conventional loudspeakers remain limited to the unfolding of direct sound or surface sound. The spatial listening experience is therefore only possible in the so-called >>stereo triangle<<. The radiation behaviour of the Phönix sound columns, on the other hand, makes it possible to reproduce the greatest possible proportion of the natural and spatially perceived sound spectrum.
