- Hifi Vision 6/1992: Presentation of the system and the Philips DCC 900, classification in the class up to 1500 DM: Test rating good, sound very good. "open and filigree sound image with digital recordings, weaknesses in treble and bass."
- Audio 12/1992: Comparison of the system DCC with DAT and analogue cassette deck, upper class, 3 ears (audio rating for digital devices). Playback analogue 65 points, good, recording/playback digital 75 points, sound overall 70 points. Equipment very good, workmanship and operation good.
