Pass Aleph 0
Short description[edit]
The Pass Aleph 0 are amplifier legends and Pass Labs' "first of a kind". Nelson Pass founded Pass Labs after successful work for Threshold (where he acquired, among other things, the famous Stasis power amps) to be able to manufacture amplifiers entirely to his own specifications. The first result was the Aleph 0 Monos, a high performance mono amplifier based on solid state class A technology. Exact technical data are hard to get today. It is certain that the monos work up to 80 watts DIN in pure Class A operation. Also measurable for everyone are the approx. 34 KG weight per mono amp and an operating temperature of approx. 50 degrees.
In fact, you can drive any loudspeaker in the world with these monos, if you don't have concert halls to fill with sound. The sound is incredibly three-dimensional, finely resolved, fast and yet bass-strong. The Alephs combine the advantages of tube amplifiers and transistors.
