Myro Xamboo

Description[edit]

Model for medium and large rooms. The Xamboo can be seen as a successor to the Myro Digger's Choice and Myro Erlkönig due to its size and placement. However, it has a different cabinet shape and chassis arrangement. For this reason, it contains the typical slanted baffle, which was not present in the previous models.
A combination of a relatively large, very dry bass (26 SEAS Excel) and a mid-high range with softer cones (reinforced polypropylene / fabric dome) was chosen. This concept is intended for those who don't want too much analytics in the mid-high range, but like a dry, crisp, deep bass. Loudspeakers of this type are often very transient, some say "long time correct". The time correctness helps designs with soft cones to achieve an unusual clarity and impulsiveness.
From a distance of about two metres the sound is excellent. The ideal ear height is 95 cm. For higher positions a substructure for the speaker is recommended, made of spikes or of a base, e.g. in form of a stone slab or a special base.
