Electronics: Twins

Consisting of two devices. Operation with touch screen, iPad or infrared remote control. One device contains the processor unit and the other the amplifier unit. The housings are constructed in a timeless design of acrylic glass and aluminium. These devices are only handmade to order and individually built according to customer requirements.
With the Twins we take a new approach in music electronics and split the frequency bands using computer generated FIR filters. These ensure a perfect phase linearity of the speakers. The differences in the time of flight of the individual loudspeaker drivers are balanced in such a way that all frequency components of the music signal reach the listener at the same time. Only after these purely digital processes is the partial signal for each individual loudspeaker chassis analogised and fed directly to its own output stage for amplification. The power amplifiers are connected directly to the voice coils of the loudspeaker chassis without any intermediate components. We get the greatest possible damping factor and the power amplifier has perfect control over the speaker cone. The result is a nearly perfect impulse response and a precise, spatial representation of the music detached from the speakers.

Loudspeaker: Hooter

One looks for a crossover in vain with these speakers. The connection terminals lead directly to the chassis, which are individually controlled by the electronics. These loudspeakers guarantee an exact impulse response and the fastest possible decay. This results in a noticeably lively reproduction with a goose bump effect. The Hooter consists of a robust cabinet with a noble piano lacquer surface. This sits on an elegant base which, thanks to its special suspension, does not transmit any vibrations to the floor. At the side of the cabinet sits a 38cm bass speaker with double voice coil in the bass reflex system, at the front a low-coupled 17cm midrange driver and an air motion transformer for the high frequency range.
