MONACOR, exactly MONACOR INTERNATIONAL GmbH & Co. KG, is a company for the production and distribution of sound reinforcement technology and accessories. Günter Schilling founded the company in 1965 with headquarters in his home. From here he imported electronic components from the Far East. In 1972 the company moved to its first own headquarters, and in 1981 to its current domicile at Bremer Kreuz. The product range includes over 4,300 products from the areas of sound and lighting technology, stage and DJ equipment, car hi-fi, security technology and electronics. Internationally, the company is active in over 40 countries.
