Special Features
- 3 built-in power amplifiers --> separately controlled chassis to increase dynamics and resolution.
- Switchable bass attenuation at 38Hz : switch positions 0, 1 and 2 cause a bass level reduction of 0dB, 3dB or 6dB so that room adjustments can be realized.
Compatible with full and power amplifiers, as the 5-pin DIN socket has a contact which is connected via a series resistor. --> Pin.2 = [Ground] ; Pin.4 = [LS+]. --> With a "5Pol-Din to 2 times Cinch" adapter : black/white connection. (the preamplifier operation is done via the red side).
- Intelligent automatic switch-on and switch-off --> The LS only switches on when the frequency mix is below 850Hz, not in case of mains crackling or other interfering signals. Automatic switch-off takes place after an 8-minute signal pause. In addition, the KS Aktiv 3 switches off to protect the drivers in the event of too high a level or voltage peaks and reactivates automatically after a few seconds.

The front of the LS is covered with a velvet-like flocking to avoid sound losses due to reflections and the resulting interference at the baffle.
