Description:
Under the direction of the studied of the opera director and sound engineer Gerald Hüpfel develops and manufactures the horn manufactory from Jennersdorf in the nature park Raabtal optically independent broadband horn loudspeakers beyond the mainstream.

In cooperation with specialized carpenters in the region, special concepts are created with perfect craftsmanship, visual appeal and pleasing proportions. The surfaces are freely selectable from various domestic woods as well as all RAL colours.
The construction principles are based, on the one hand, on sophisticated horn geometries that minimize the notorious ripples and phase rotations of the sound radiated backwards by the driver and, on the other hand, on full-range loudspeakers that are created entirely according to the specifications of the Hornmanufaktur.
The cabinet walls are manufactured throughout in elaborate sandwich construction from several layers and immobilized with stiffeners and bitumen overlays.
This results in a high inner density, which effectively nips resonances in the bud. Due to the elaborate bends, standing waves cannot even form inside. Cavities are filled with a sound-absorbing material. The precision achieved in this way requires no further discussion.
