Dual CR 2500 RC

About the Dual CR 2500 RC compact system in connection with the CCD 2500 CD player + double cassette deck, I can explain my own experiences here.

I bought this system (1200,- DM) at the end of 1992 from my first apprenticeship money. Until now (end of 2010) it still runs 100% in full functionality. In these 18 years, it has never let me down. Only the remote control is already the second. I had to order a new one after a few years (110,- DM), after I accidentally destroyed the old one.

The sound was really good thanks to surround, bass boost, 5-way graphic equalizer and good 3-way speakers.

At the time it was one of the most modern systems ever. Especially the double cassette deck had all possible refinements you can imagine - e.g. double noise reduction or two-sided automatic CD recording. But who still listens to cassettes today?!

That's why it has to give way with a heavy heart and is replaced by a DVD-MP3/MP4-FM-USB compact system.
