- Original systems were Shure M71MB-D with DN325 or the new CDS700 with DN7.
- The chassis is based on that of the Dual 1210, with only a modified tonearm bearing with a different weight, with the anti-skating adjustment linked to the tracking force, and a higher quality drive motor to allow magnetic cartridges to be used (Hi-Fi).
