Dahlquist DQ10
The Dahlquist DQ 10 was the first loudspeaker of the Dahlquist company from Hauppauge New York. Besides the founders Jon Dahlquist and Saul Marantz, Irving M. Fried and Werner Eymann were involved in the company. The DQ 10 was the first conventional loudspeaker without a cabinet and was designed as a phased array. Its appearance was deliberately reminiscent of the Quad electrostatic, as the quality of electrostatic was achieved for the first time with conventional construction.
