+
Highly praised, top mechanics - but can not sound at all with the Yamaha KX 670. If you insert recorded cassettes from the Yamaha - you hear as always (also applies to many other high-end decks) the difference - own recordings sound like cassette and mono - unfortunately!
 +
Got from the 950 the Rec.Equalizer switch - super for quick setting at Rec.HW

+
BUT : If you want to have top sync, record with the Sony 770 and play it back with the Yamaha 670, so perverse can be HiFi.HW

+
The erase head of stereo cassette decks(even mono - Philips) is half track(tracks are side by side), so half track stereo - wrongly always called 4 track!
+
The real time is only, if the deck calculates the difference from rewind and unwind, works only with Yamaha correctly - no matter where the cassette is, after 10 sec.!!!

Alles Andere ist KEINE Echtzeit! HW

Everything else is NOT real time! HW

Highly praised, top mechanics - but can not sound at all with the Yamaha KX 670. If you insert recorded cassettes from the Yamaha - you hear as always (also applies to many other high-end decks) the difference - own recordings sound like cassette and mono - unfortunately! Got from the 950 the Rec.Equalizer switch - super for quick setting at Rec.HW

BUT : If you want to have top sync, record with the Sony 770 and play it back with the Yamaha 670, so perverse can be HiFi.HW

The erase head of stereo cassette decks(even mono - Philips) is half track(tracks are side by side), so half track stereo - wrongly always called 4 track! The real time is only, if the deck calculates the difference from rewind and unwind, works only with Yamaha correctly - no matter where the cassette is, after 10 sec.!!!

Everything else is NOT real time! HW
