The mentioned device has not been developed as a HiFi device, but is a (meanwhile obsolete) game console, which was accidentally attributed a quite decent sound in tests of relevant magazines. Since the way to a usable HiFi CD player is very long and cost intensive, this belongs rather in a DIY forum, or possibly in a separate section that deals with such cases, then, however, well-founded construction proposals and sources of supply should be named, which make such a project feasible.
