- The SS-E71 is a typical mid-range speaker of that time: 3-way, closed, compact, large bass driver, minimalist crossover with, according to driver data sheets, wide

Due to the too small net volume of the woofer cabinet the Qtc is > 1 and consequently this results in suboptimal impulse behaviour in the low frequency range with rich frequency response exaggeration in the upper bass.
