Remarks

Other models of the same series: There was a whole series of this series, which are equipped without fan. Starting with 50W nominal power (1" high), the second smallest model - the DVT 50S - with 100W nominal power (2" high), and the bigger brother with 250W nominal power (3" high).

In addition, there was a series with fans, which had higher power for the same size. The flagship was a power amplifier with 500W nominal power at 8 ohms, which easily delivered 1000W at 4 ohms. In mono mode this power wonder delivered more than 4000W at 4 ohms! However, power amps with fans are not suitable for home use because of the noise.

Reviews

  • This unit has provided its service to me for over 20 years in a flawless manner. The purchase of it was a real stroke of luck. A good friend with his own recording studio was working part time in a professional music store. This ended the general agency for "Rauch" in Switzerland and liquidated all devices (The Rauch devices were much too good and too noble for professional use). He recommended the Rauch to me because he had had the best experience with them in the studio. Since then I am the proud owner of a DVT 50S and enjoy it every day. The sound can easily compete with any "high-end" power amplifier in the same price range. Especially the power reserves and the high damping factor are convincing. These power amps are so carefully and well manufactured that they are destined for eternity.
