The two Pioneer turntables PL-600 and PL-600 X are identical in construction and differ only by the different housing color. They are the successor to the PL-630, now with sophisticated electronics and without the known shortcomings of its predecessor. Their chassis is made of solid aluminium and the tone arm is even adjustable in height (VTA). The drive motor of the PL-600 / PL-600 X is one of the best among the direct drive units.
