Remarks

This unit only had Dolby B and C noise reduction, while the next smaller model CT-S 630 S already had Dolby S on board. The latter had a simpler single-capstan drive. The CT-S 730 has the same dimensions and technical specifications as the CT-S 830 S. The latter has additionally Dolby S on board and was also 200 DM more expensive. The CT-S 830 S, equipped with Dolby S, was in the focus of the trade press, and was tested several times and topped the best lists. The CT-S 730 was only built for 1 year and was replaced by the CT-S 740 S. It is very rare to find used cassette decks in the trade.
