High-End loudspeaker[edit]

The name OUÏR from the old French (=listen) already expresses that we do not only rely on technical measurement data. The human ear is still our highest priority. We are convinced that electronic measuring devices are still far removed from our ears in their ability to capture reproductions in an overall picture. Years of experience in audio technology and related applied disciplines such as music psychology, a professionally equipped acoustic studio are the pillars of our success. Thanks to our international activities, we always have our finger on the pulse of the times, which is of full benefit to our discerning customers.

The most striking thing about OUÏR is certainly its housing. We use a specially developed mixture of concrete with bitumen, polyvinyl chloride and Armaflex components. The negative allows us to cast the housings in a single operation. This makes them extremely compact and they have neither joints nor screws. The inner volume is rounded and thus prevents internal cabinet resonances.

We have reduced the crossover to a minimum. Thus there are no unnecessary components in the signal path. Every single component was included in the construction according to a strict selection principle. So that no vibrations can influence the magnetic field of the air coil, it is housed in a separate concrete enclosure. This also makes sinfully expensive cables superfluous.
