Onkyo-RI ("Remote-Interactive") system bus, through which the CD player can be connected to Onkyo amplifiers and receivers. This makes the CD player controllable with the remote control of the receiver/amplifier. In addition, a cassette deck can be operated with a remote control such as RC-278C or RC-340C. An extra cable with 2x 3.5 mm jack plugs (mono) is required.

Remarks

Original remote control is the RC-402C. However, other, somewhat older remote controls such as RC-278C, RC-279C, RC-340C also work. As with the predecessor model Onkyo DX-7222 the display is dark yellow on the silver model, mint green on the black model. No 10s keyboard at the equipment, very puristically held front

  • like the DX-7222 there are no Hifi feet (plastic/metal or ceramic) but small feet made of hard rubber
