Remarks[edit]
- even after 35 years it still runs perfectly,
- Only a small foam rubber part, which was totally rotten, had to be replaced by a felt strip.
- Hinge housings tend to burst due to age related material fatigue. Repair instructions as well as new hinges are available online at widely varying prices.
- A panel weight is recommended, be sure to note the height,
- so that the weight does not drag on the closed lid, ( Ebay from 25, - Euro )
