Harman Kardon PM 665 :
Selling price : 1898.- DM
Year of manufacture : 1985-1987
Visually like the smaller brother PM655, but here each channel has its own transformer and the output stage consists of 8 transistors instead of 4 transistors as in the PM655.
The number of power supply capacitors and the construction of the preamplifiers as well as other details are identical to the smaller PM655.
At that time the PM665 was several times test winner in different magazines.
Stereoplay : Top class 1, Audio upper class
This part does not need to hide from new High End boxes from "England". Quite the contrary. In direct comparison with a Luxman L 410 the Harman cut a better figure. We unanimously agreed on that. And the L 410 sounds really good.
