The Canton Elektronik GmbH + Co. KG was founded in 1972 by Hubert Milbers, Otfried Sandig, Wolfgang Seikritt and Günther Seitz. The company is located in Weilrod (Taunus). The name Canton is composed of the Latin word cantare (to sing) and the German word Ton.
